| The new Espace has the largest glass roof to date - and you can slide it back, almost turning the Renault into a convertible MPV. The lower half of the cabin is trimmed with harder plastics that should withstand knocks and scrapes better, and interior space is superb. A slick manual gearbox means that driving this large people-carrier is no hardship, and all the controls bar the optional satellite navigation are easily reached. A narrow digital display adds to the more contemporary feel of the car. Safety is paramount with Renault and the new Espace will be no exception. |
